Common Problems

a) I installed the plugin but I can't view the 3D window properly.

b) I can't see any 3D window.

c) I only see a blue screen in the 3D window.

d) The objects in the 3D window haven't loaded properly.

a) I installed the plugin but I can't view the 3D window properly.

You may need to turn on 'OpenGL' function of the 3D plugin.

1. Right mouse click inside the 3D window to bring up the plugin options menu.
   
   
2. Under the Settings Menu, select the Preferences option.
   
   Alternatively, instead of steps 1 and 2 you can just press the F9 key.
   
   
3. Click on the Render Options tab.
   
   
4. Tick the box marked Prefer OpenGL.
   
   
5. Press OK, then exit your browser and reopen the webpage.

b) I can't see any 3D window.

You may not have the required 3D plugin. Make sure the 3D plugin is installed. If there is a yellow bar at the top of your window informing you of a plugin that needs to be installed, click on it and select the install option. Allow the program to install by clicking run on the next screen. Follow the instructions here.

c) I only see a blue screen in the 3D window.

Your graphics card in your PC may not be powerful enough to function correctly. Close any internet browser windows that have the 3D website window running. Open a new browser window and navigate to the 3D website.

d) The objects in the 3D window haven't loaded properly.

Refresh the page with the incomplete 3D scene or close your internet browser window and reopen the 3D website page.
